Customer story
A laundry platform cuts order errors by 87% with Webzenia.
A Delhi NCR B2B laundry platform planned pickup routes on a whiteboard and tracked garments on handwritten tags. Webzenia built an operations app with digital routing and garment tracking.

The challenge
A Delhi NCR B2B laundry and dry cleaning platform was running its operations on a whiteboard and handwritten tags. Pickup routes were planned by hand each morning, and every garment was tracked with a paper label that could fade, tear, or get misread.
Order errors were a persistent cost. A misread tag meant a lost or swapped garment, and each mistake turned into a refund and a damaged client relationship. The manual system also left partner capacity invisible, so routes ran half-empty while orders piled up elsewhere.
The business needed to see its operations as data, not as marks on a board. That meant an app for routing pickups and tracking garments through every stage, replacing paper with a record that could not smudge.
The approach
Webzenia built an operations app in Flutter, one cross-platform build for the pickup, processing, and delivery teams to share. The app turned the whiteboard and the paper tags into a single live system.
Pickup routing was handled in the app, assigning and sequencing jobs so partners ran fuller routes instead of guessing from a board. Each garment was tracked digitally through every stage, from pickup to processing to return, which closed the gap where handwritten tags had been creating losses.
The interface was designed in Figma for staff working with their hands full, with scan-and-go logging that took seconds per item. A Firebase backend kept every team looking at the same order state in real time, so a delivery driver and a processing supervisor never disagreed about where a garment was.
We shipped through the Play Console and App Store Connect, monitored field crashes with Sentry, and delivered the build in 16 weeks.
The results
Order errors fell 87%. Digital garment tracking replaced the handwritten tags that had been driving refunds and lost items.
Partner utilisation rose from 41% to 68%. App-based routing filled vehicles and shifts the whiteboard had left half-used.
Revenue per order climbed 23%. Fewer errors and tighter routes turned the same order volume into a more profitable operation.
