How we work
How the team works, whatever the role
These hold for every role at Webzenia.
Targets are written down
Where a role has targets, they are set in writing and you acknowledge them before they count. You can see your own progress at any time.
One team, end to end
The people who plan a client’s work are the people who do it. Strategy, build and reporting sit with one team.
One place for everything
Leave, attendance, payslips, letters and your targets all live in Webzenia HQ, our HR portal, so nothing depends on chasing someone.
Direct access
A small team means you work with the people who make the decisions, and you hear the reasons for them.
AI in the daily work
Research, first drafts and checks run on AI tools, so your time goes on client work and the decisions a tool cannot make.
Feedback on real work
Feedback comes from reviewing your actual work against written criteria, not a manager’s gut feel.
What you get
What you get working at Webzenia in India
The terms that apply to every employee in India.
- Pay as annual CTC, on every role
- Every role lists its pay as annual CTC. Salary is credited to your bank account each month, with a payslip on Webzenia HQ, our HR portal.
- Leave and public holidays
- 12 casual leave days a year, which also cover sick days, and 8 paid public holidays. Earned leave builds at 1 day per 20 days worked, usable after 240 days and carried forward up to 45 days. Earned leave not taken by your last working day lapses.
- Provident Fund
- Webzenia pays the employer’s Provident Fund contribution through EPFO alongside yours, at the rates the law sets, and both show on every payslip.
- Thane, Mumbai and Pune
- Each role lists the cities it is open to: Thane, where our office is, Mumbai and Pune. The working day is 9 am to 6 pm IST in every city.
- Six months’ probation, reviewed in writing
- Reviews at 30, 60 and 90 days and a confirmation review at 6 months, each scoring the same six areas from 1 to 4, so you know where you stand.
- Incentives on sales roles
- Sales roles earn an incentive on collections from the deals you own. The rate and the target are set out in writing before either takes effect.

Questions
Questions candidates ask
Fees, hours, your data and what happens after you apply.
Hiring policies
Fraud, fairness and your data
Three commitments that apply to every role and every candidate.
Recruitment fraud
Webzenia never asks for a registration fee, training fee or security deposit, never asks for a card number, PIN or OTP, and never makes an offer on WhatsApp or Telegram alone. The only bank papers we ask for are statements for the months of your last three payslips, before an offer based on your current CTC.
Every email from Webzenia comes from an @webzenia.com address, and every offer arrives as a written letter. If someone asks you for money in Webzenia’s name, it is not us: write to careers@webzenia.com and report it on 1930, the national cyber crime helpline.
Equal opportunity
Webzenia hires on the work you can show. Caste, religion, gender, disability, age, marital status, home state and mother tongue play no part in any decision, and the application form does not ask about them.
If you have a disability and need changes to apply, interview or do the job, tell us at careers@webzenia.com. We provide reasonable accommodation, in line with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
Candidate privacy notice
This notice explains what Webzenia Infotech does with your details when you apply for a role or join the talent pool, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
- Who is responsible
- Webzenia Infotech is the Data Fiduciary for your details. Write to careers@webzenia.com about anything in this notice.
- What we collect
- When you apply: your name, email, mobile number and city, your CV, your LinkedIn and portfolio links if you give them, your answers to the role’s questions, your notice period and expected pay, any note you add, and how you reached the role. Before an offer based on your current CTC: your last three payslips and the bank statements for the same months. After you accept an offer: your PAN, photo ID, address, qualifications, previous employers and two references, for checks you consent to in writing. When you apply, we do not ask for your date of birth, gender, religion, caste, marital status, photo, Aadhaar or PAN.
- Why we use it
- To assess your application for the role you chose, to contact you about it, to keep a record of how the hiring decision was made and, if you are not hired, to consider you for a closely matching role during the 12 months we keep it. If you join the talent pool, also to email you about matching roles. We never sell your details or use them for marketing.
- Where it is kept
- In Webzenia HQ, our own hiring system, on our server in Mumbai, India, hosted by Oracle Cloud. Your CV is checked for viruses and encrypted when stored, backups are encrypted too, and only the people hiring for the role, and the AI tool named below when they use it, can read it.
- Who else handles it
- Vercel carries the form from our website to our server. Resend sends the emails we write to you, from its servers in Japan. When the people hiring ask it to, Anthropic’s Claude, an AI tool, reads an application against the role’s stated requirements, processing it in the United States. It never scores or ranks you. If a required screening answer rules out the role, the application is flagged for a person to review: a person at Webzenia makes every decision.
- How long we keep it
- For 12 months after we decide on your application or the role closes. Then we delete your CV and remove your name and contact details, keeping only anonymous counts and the activity log the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 require. If we have blocked someone as a fraud or security risk, we keep only their email address, mobile number, LinkedIn link and the reason, so we recognise a new application from them. If you withdraw your consent, we do that within 7 days. In the talent pool, for 12 months from the day you sign up; before then we ask whether you want to stay, and delete your details if you do not reply. If you join Webzenia, your application moves to your employee record.
- Your rights
- You can withdraw your consent at any time, which ends your application. You can ask for a summary of what we hold, how we use it and who we have shared it with, and ask us to correct, complete, update or delete it. Reply to any email from us or write to careers@webzenia.com. You can also name a person to use these rights for you if you die or cannot act yourself.
- Complaints
- Write to careers@webzenia.com first: the law asks you to come to us before the Board, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 give us up to 90 days to answer. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
