Own new business for Webzenia across India and the UAE: build the account list, prospect, run discovery, price the proposal and close engagements below Rs. 5 lakh yourself.
About the role
Webzenia is a digital agency in Thane, working with clients across India and the UAE since 2018 on web design, SEO, paid advertising, branding and AI automation.
This is an individual contributor role covering the full sales cycle. You close engagements below Rs. 5 lakh on your own and run larger deals with the founder, who you report to.
The role is based in Thane, Mumbai or Pune, with client meetings across the three cities. Pay is fixed, plus an incentive on the fees you collect, with the terms set out in the offer.
What you will do
- Build and maintain the target account list for India and the UAE.
- Prospect by email, LinkedIn and phone, researching each account before you reach out.
- Take qualified inbound and referral enquiries through discovery, and reactivate lapsed accounts.
- Run discovery calls with founders and marketing heads: requirement, budget, decision process and timeline.
- Scope requirements with the delivery team and prepare priced proposals.
- Negotiate and close below Rs. 5 lakh, and support the founder above it.
- Keep your pipeline current in Webzenia HQ and report weekly on pipeline, channels and forecast.
- Hand each closed account to delivery with a written scope.
What you need
- 3 to 5 years in B2B sales at a digital agency, marketing services, IT services or B2B SaaS company.
- A personal closing record on deals of Rs. 1 lakh and above.
- Experience owning the cycle from prospecting to signature, not passing leads on.
- Working knowledge of SEO, paid media, web development and branding.
- Fluent English and Hindi, written and spoken.
- A graduate degree in any discipline. An MBA is not required.
Good to have
- Experience selling into the UAE or the wider Gulf market.
- Exposure to D2C, ecommerce or retail brands.
- Experience pricing custom-scoped work from discovery, without a rate card.
- Marathi.
