Privacy Policy

Webzenia collects only the data needed to respond to you, run the website, and deliver its services. The table below summarises the categories of personal data, examples of each, and how Webzenia collects them. Webzenia does not knowingly collect, and does not require, sensitive financial account numbers, health data, or biometric data through the website; if you send such data unprompted, it is deleted once the related request is handled.

Webzenia uses personal data only for the purposes set out below, and not for unrelated purposes without telling you first and, where required, obtaining your consent. Under the DPDP Act 2023, Webzenia relies on the consent you give when you contact it and on certain legitimate uses recognised under the Act, such as responding to a request you have initiated and meeting legal obligations.

Where processing relies on consent, that consent is sought through a clear request, is limited to the stated purpose, and can be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out, and may mean Webzenia can no longer provide the related service.

Webzenia uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the website working and, with your consent, to measure traffic and attribute campaigns. Analytics, marketing, and personalisation cookies are off by default and load only after you accept them.

The full cookie inventory (every cookie set, who sets it, what it does, and how long it lasts), together with controls to change your choices, is published on the Cookie Policy. Webzenia honours "Do Not Track" signals where the browser sends them by not loading non-essential tracking.

Webzenia does not sell personal data. It is shared only with the parties below, under contracts that require them to protect it and to process it only on Webzenia's instructions.

• Service providers (Data Processors): hosting, content delivery, analytics, email delivery, scheduling, CRM, and payment tools that process data on Webzenia's behalf.
• Professional advisers: accountants, auditors, and legal advisers, where needed and bound by confidentiality.
• Authorities: where disclosure is required by law, regulation, court order, or a lawful request, or to protect legal rights.
• Business transfers: where Webzenia is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal data may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

International transfers

Some of Webzenia's processors store or process data on servers outside India. Where personal data is transferred abroad, Webzenia takes steps so that it remains protected to the standard described in this policy and so that the transfer is permitted under applicable Indian law, including any restrictions notified by the Central Government under the DPDP Act 2023.

Webzenia applies reasonable security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, in line with the IT (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules 2011. These include encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls on a need-to-know basis, vetted processors bound by contract, and periodic review of its practices.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. In the event of a personal data breach, Webzenia will act to contain it and will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected Data Principals as required under the DPDP Act 2023.

Webzenia keeps personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required to meet legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

Under the DPDP Act 2023, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data.

• Right to access: to obtain a summary of the personal data Webzenia holds about you and how it is processed.
• Right to correction and erasure: to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected and data that is no longer needed erased.
• Right to withdraw consent: to withdraw, at any time, consent you previously gave, as easily as you gave it.
• Right to grievance redressal: to a readily available means of registering a grievance with Webzenia about how your data is handled.
• Right to nominate: to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
• Right to complain: to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with Webzenia's response.

To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@webzenia.com. Webzenia may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request, and responds within the timelines prescribed under applicable law. You also have a duty under the DPDP Act 2023 to provide accurate information and to exercise your rights in good faith, without filing false or frivolous requests.

When your data is provided to Webzenia by a client

Where Webzenia processes your personal data as a Data Processor on behalf of a client, that client is the Data Fiduciary and directs how the data is used. Please address requests about that data to the relevant client; Webzenia will support them as its contract and the law require.

The website is intended for business users and is not directed at children under 18. Webzenia does not knowingly process the personal data of a child without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian, and does not undertake tracking, behavioural monitoring, or targeted advertising directed at children, as required by the DPDP Act 2023. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact the Webzenia privacy team at privacy@webzenia.com and it will be deleted.

Webzenia does not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing of your personal data. Analytics and advertising tools may segment audiences in aggregate, but the engagement decisions that affect you are made by people.

Webzenia may update this policy from time to time as its practices or the law change. On a material change, the "Last updated" date above is revised and, where appropriate, you are notified. The version published on this page is the current version, and continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
