Customer story

A home decor brand triples revenue after a Webzenia rebuild.

A Mumbai D2C home decor brand ran a 600-product catalogue on Wix with no CMS and a conversion rate stuck below 1%. Webzenia rebuilt the storefront on Next.js 15 and Sanity, fixing the speed and structure that were leaking buyers.

The challenge

The Wix site this Mumbai D2C home decor brand ran on loaded in 5.8 seconds on mobile. For a 600-product catalogue with no CMS, that meant slow pages and no way to fix them in-house. Conversion was stuck at 0.8%.

More traffic was never the problem. The brand had a loyal following and a steady paid spend. The leak was the storefront itself, where shoppers arrived and left before the first image rendered.

The approach

Webzenia rebuilt the store on Next.js 15 with Sanity, restructuring the catalogue for search at the same time. The two changes were treated as one job. A fast page that nobody can find still earns nothing.

Design work happened in Figma first, with the new templates prototyped against the real 600-product set before build. The front end shipped on Vercel, where server rendering pulled mobile LCP to 1.7s.

The catalogue was reorganised so that collections and product pages matched real Mumbai search demand. Each page was given a clear job in the funnel rather than sitting as undifferentiated inventory.

GA4 tracked conversion and revenue against the pre-launch baseline so the 3.1x figure was measured, not estimated.

The results

Revenue grew 3.1x in the 4 months after launch, with no change to media spend. The lift came entirely from a site that converted the visitors it already had.

Conversion rate moved from 0.8% to 2.4%, and mobile LCP fell from 5.8s to 1.7s. The speed gain and the catalogue restructure reinforce each other.

The numbers held past launch month rather than spiking and fading. A structural fix does not decay the way a campaign does, so the new baseline stayed put.
