Customer story

Organic demo requests up 3.4x for a Hinjewadi SaaS firm, its most efficient pipeline source.

A Hinjewadi-based B2B SaaS company had built its entire demo pipeline on paid search, with none of the comparison or integration content its buyers actually read living on its own site. Webzenia mapped the buyer's real evaluation and built a bottom-of-funnel cluster to meet it, turning organic into a durable second engine alongside paid.

The challenge

A Hinjewadi-based B2B SaaS company sold to IT and operations buyers who compared a handful of vendors before signing, but every one of those comparisons started with a paid demo request. When the ad budget tightened, the pipeline tightened with it, and the sales team spent as much time on unqualified bookings as on buyers ready to move.

The buyers doing the actual comparing, reading integration guides, pricing breakdowns and "X versus Y" reviews, found none of that on the company's own site. Third-party review sites and competitors owned that content instead, so the company paid rising CPCs to reach a buyer who was already forming an opinion somewhere else.

The approach

Webzenia started with how the buyer actually evaluates a tool, not how the company assumed it did. Ahrefs and Google Search Console query data surfaced the comparison and integration searches, category versus category, tool plus platform, that buyers run before a shortlist, and the team mapped each to a page.

The team built a bottom-of-funnel content cluster from that mapping: comparison pages, integration guides and use-case pages written for someone already choosing between two or three vendors, not someone still learning the category. Internal linking tied every page back to the demo request flow.

Technical SEO ran alongside, using Screaming Frog and PageSpeed Insights to clear the crawl and indexing gaps that had kept newer product pages out of search entirely.

Off-page work earned links from software directories and integration partner pages, the sources evaluators already trusted, so the new cluster could outrank the aggregators it was written to replace.

The results

Organic demo requests grew 3.4x in nine months. Comparison and integration pages now carry buyers who arrive already weighing the company against a named competitor, not a colder audience discovering the category for the first time.

The category's highest-intent term now ranks #1. That is the exact search a buyer runs in the hour before requesting a demo, and it now belongs to the company rather than a review aggregator.

38% of new pipeline now comes from organic. With comparison content doing the qualifying work upfront, the sales team spends its time on buyers closer to a decision, and the pipeline no longer empties when the ad budget pauses.
