Customer story
Orthopaedic enquiries up 3.4x for a Bhopal hospital, from across central MP.
A Bhopal hospital served central Madhya Pradesh but depended on referrals to reach patients outside the city. Webzenia built procedure and condition content for what regional patients and families research before they travel for care, turning organic into a primary out-of-city patient source.

The challenge
A Bhopal multi-specialty hospital had built a strong reputation across central Madhya Pradesh, but almost every patient from outside the city arrived through a referral from a smaller-town doctor. That pipeline depended entirely on relationships the hospital could not scale or control.
Patients and families dealing with an orthopaedic or joint condition increasingly research a procedure, a specialist and a hospital online before they decide where to travel for care, often weeks before an appointment. The hospital's site described its departments in general terms but said little about specific procedures, recovery timelines or what to expect, so that research led patients elsewhere before a referral ever reached them.
The approach
Referral volume pointed Webzenia toward orthopaedic and joint-care terms first, and the team mapped the procedure and condition searches patients across the region actually run using Google Search Console and Ahrefs.
Procedure and condition content followed, answering what a patient decides on before they travel: what a knee replacement or joint procedure involves, recovery timelines, and what to expect from consultation to discharge, written for a worried family reading at home, not a clinical audience.
District and town-level pages came next for the smaller MP towns supplying the most referral volume, so patients searching for care from outside Bhopal found the hospital directly instead of waiting on a local doctor's recommendation.
Call tracking tied to GA4 let the team see which procedure pages were converting into actual enquiry calls, and technical SEO fixes cleared the crawl issues keeping several department pages out of search results entirely.
The results
Orthopaedic enquiries from organic grew 3.4x in 7 months. The hospital reached patients considering a joint procedure before a referral was ever made.
31 procedure terms reached the top three results. Patients researching a specific condition or procedure found the relevant department page directly, arriving at the call already informed about what the procedure involved.
44% of enquiries now come from outside Bhopal, matching the out-of-city pattern the hospital previously reached only through referrals, but without depending on any single doctor's recommendation.
The first procedure term reached page one in 6 weeks. The early ranking gave the hospital's referral network a head start it hadn't had before, with organic enquiries arriving alongside referred ones rather than months behind them.
