Customer story
B2B enquiries up 2.9x for a Coimbatore pump and motor maker, beyond dealers and exhibitions.
A Coimbatore pump and motor manufacturer depended on a dealer network and a handful of annual exhibitions for new business. Webzenia built capability, product and application content with hreflang for the engineers and distributors who research a supplier before they call, at home and overseas.

The challenge
A Coimbatore pump and motor manufacturer built its business on a dealer network and a handful of annual trade exhibitions. Between shows, new enquiries slowed to a trickle, and every domestic and export lead depended on a buyer remembering the brand from a stall visited months earlier.
Engineers and distributors evaluating a new supplier were already comparing specification sheets and application notes online before they picked up the phone. The manufacturer's site listed products by model number with little on flow rates, applications or certifications, so buyers who found it left without enough to shortlist it, and the enquiry went to a competitor with a fuller listing instead.
The approach
Webzenia began with Ahrefs and Google Search Console to map the application terms engineers and distributors actually search, from pump curves and motor ratings to industry-specific use cases like textile processing and water treatment.
The team then built capability, product and application pages that answered a specification question directly: duty cycle, flow rate, certification, and which industries each model suited. Content was written for a technical reader comparing suppliers on paper, not a browsing shopper.
Because export buyers researched from outside India, hreflang was added so the right regional version of each page surfaced by market, and Screaming Frog crawls cleared indexation gaps that had kept large parts of the catalogue out of search entirely.
On-page and technical work ran alongside to tighten page speed and internal linking between the new application pages and the dealer locator, so both domestic and export enquiries had a clear path to a form.
The results
B2B enquiries from organic grew 2.9x over nine months. The gap between trade shows stopped being dead time, with dealers and export buyers finding the manufacturer directly between events.
23 application terms reached the top three results. Pages built around real specification questions, flow rate, duty cycle, certification, started surfacing ahead of listings that only carried a model number.
The manufacturer now ranks in five overseas markets. With hreflang routing each region to its own page, export enquiries began arriving without a distributor or agent in between.
