The challenge

A Chennai B2B SaaS automating invoice processing was losing visitors at the first screen. On the homepage, 68% of them left before they understood what the product did.

The product was capable, but the homepage asked people to read their way to comprehension. For a category most buyers do not encounter every day, that was too much work, and the bounce rate proved it.

The approach

Webzenia diagnosed the gap as comprehension, not traffic. The team scripted a 90-second animated explainer to show the invoice automation working, replacing paragraphs of copy with a sequence a visitor could follow in under 2 minutes.

The script was built around the one moment that makes the value land: the before and after of an invoice moving through the system. The narrative was tightened in Notion, then designed and animated to match the brand in Figma and Adobe Illustrator.

The video was placed above the fold on the homepage, with the surrounding layout reworked so the explainer carried the first impression. The team validated the placement against real visitors in Maze before going live.

The results

Homepage bounce rate fell from 68% to 41% once the 90-second explainer carried the first impression. Visitors understood the product before they had to decide whether to stay.

Free trial signups rose 34% in the 60 days after launch. Comprehension at the first screen turned more visitors into trials.

The sales cycle shortened 18%. Prospects arrived at the demo already knowing what the product did, so one video carried the work the copy could not.
