Customer story
A fintech startup closes its Series A 5 months ahead of plan after a rebrand.
A Bangalore Series A fintech was raising with a brand that looked like a 2019 side project, in a category where the buyer is trusting you with money. Webzenia rebuilt the identity and pitch deck around trust before the round.

The challenge
A Bangalore Series A fintech was raising while wearing a brand that looked like a 2019 side project. The product was sound, but in a category where the buyer is trusting you with money, the visual identity worked against every claim the founders made in the room.
The pitch record told the story. The brand had pulled 1 term sheet from 14 investor pitches, and post-meeting feedback kept circling the same word: the company did not look ready for the cheque it was asking for.
The approach
Webzenia ran a positioning workshop before touching a single screen. The team pinned down what trust had to mean for a fintech this stage, then translated that into the decisions an investor reads in the first 5 seconds of a deck or an app.
The visual identity was rebuilt around that idea in Figma and Adobe Illustrator. The team replaced the side-project palette and typography with a system that signalled a regulated, money-grade product, then carried it into the app interface so the brand a user met matched the brand an investor saw.
The pitch deck was rebuilt last, leading with the problem and the unit economics rather than the feature tour. The full system was published in Frontify so the founders, the deck, and the product told one story. End to start, the rebrand shipped in 10 weeks.
The results
Investor conversion moved from 1 term sheet in 14 pitches to 3 in 7 after the rebrand. The deck and the app now carried the credibility the product always had.
The App Store rating climbed from 3.1 to 4.4 in the 2 months post-launch, and internal NPS rose from 34 to 61. The brand a user met finally matched the brand an investor saw.
The Series A closed in 4 months against a 9-month projection. The brand stopped being the thing the founders had to explain away in the room.
