Per-market keyword research
A keyword and intent map per country, researched separately
International SEO · UAE
Most companies selling here arrived rather than started, so the site still ranks where it came from. Webzenia rebuilds the targeting, architecture and content so the UAE reads as a market, not a redirect.

International SEO makes one business rank in several countries without the versions competing. It is an architecture problem first: telling Google which page serves which market, then earning authority inside each one.
Telling Google which page belongs to which market and language, so a buyer in Dubai lands on the UAE page and not the one written for a different country.
The domain and URL structure every market sits on: subfolders, subdomains, or a .ae of its own. The choice shapes everything after it, and it is expensive to reverse.
Content, currency and intent rebuilt per market, in Arabic as well as English where the audience is. What ranks in one Gulf market does not automatically rank in the next.
A .ae domain, or your global one
A local domain signals commitment to buyers here, while a global domain carries the authority you have already earned. The wrong pick is slow to undo, so it is worth an hour before launch.
| A .ae of its ownA separate UAE domain | Global domainOne domain, many markets | |
|---|---|---|
| Example | brand.ae standing on its own. | brand.com/ae as one section of the group site. |
| Authority | Starts at zero. Every link and citation has to be earned again, locally. | The UAE section inherits every link the business has earned anywhere. |
| How buyers read it | Reads as a local business, which matters when the buyer is checking you are really here. | Reads as a global firm with a UAE presence, which suits enterprise procurement. |
| When it wins | A separate UAE entity, a distinct brand, or a licence that constrains what the group may sell here. | Most arrivals, and anyone who will sell into a second Gulf market later. |
| The catch | Two properties to maintain, and the new one is invisible for months. | Needs disciplined hreflang and geo-targeting, or the markets quietly cannibalise each other. |
For most businesses here, a UAE section on the existing domain wins: the authority already earned gives the market a head start a fresh .ae cannot buy. A separate .ae earns its keep when the UAE entity is genuinely separate. A Business Bay real-estate brokerage on a mainland DET licence sells into a market its group domain never targeted, and its whole audience sits inside one emirate, which is what SEO in Dubai is built around. The domain is one decision inside an SEO programme for the UAE, decided from your licence and your search footprint.
The UAE context
Webzenia has worked with Gulf clients since 2018, and the same three things surface almost every time a business starts selling in the UAE.
A JLT commodities trader under DMCC keeps a .com that still resolves to the group’s old address, with the currency and the footer agreeing with it. Google reads all three together. Nothing is broken, which is why it goes unnoticed: the site ranks perfectly well, in the wrong market.
Arabic search carries different queries, not the same queries in another script, and the layout has to work right to left. We scope the Arabic treatment in the same breath as the English one, or say plainly that the engagement does not include it.
Domain authority travels; local relevance does not. A strong global profile still sits behind a smaller UAE competitor with local citations and trade-press coverage here, which is why we sequence markets one at a time rather than launching four and waiting.
The scope
A keyword and intent map per country, researched separately
Reciprocal tags validated against the live crawl, not the spec sheet
A written structure decision, with a migration plan where one is needed
Pages rebuilt for local intent, currency and language rather than translated
Local citations and coverage earned inside each country you sell in
Rank, traffic and trend reported country by country, never as one blended line
Our stack
The kit behind a site that ranks in the right country in the right language. Select one to see why it earns its place, and what we do with it that most do not.
Semrush holds a separate keyword database per country, which is the only way to see that a term with real weight in one Gulf market is dead in the next.
We pull the UAE and the origin market as two independent research sets and compare them, rather than translating one into the other. The gaps between them are usually where the opportunity is.
How the engagement runs
International SEO is won before launch, in the architecture. A market taken live on the wrong structure costs months to unwind, and the cost lands in the market you care about most.
We establish which market the site is actually built for today, in Google’s reading of it rather than yours: the domain history, the address signals, the currency, the existing hreflang if there is any, and where the links sit by country. Then we research the UAE and the origin market as separate search markets. Almost every engagement starts by finding the site is well optimised for somewhere else.
We settle the domain and URL architecture in writing, implement hreflang, and configure geo-targeting. Then we validate it against the live crawl: every tag present, every return tag reciprocal, no page claiming two markets at once. This is the phase that decides whether the markets stay separate or quietly compete, so it is verified rather than assumed.
We rebuild pages for local intent, currency and language, including Arabic where the audience is there, and launch one market at a time with the structure proven before the next goes live. Local citations and in-market coverage are then earned inside each country, because that is the part authority from elsewhere does not cover.
Reported country by country, so you see each market on its own.
Our commitment
Multi-market work is where agencies hide behind blended numbers. These are the four things we hold ourselves to instead.
The domain call comes in writing
You get the domain and URL recommendation in writing, with what it costs you if we are wrong and what it would take to reverse. A decision this expensive should not arrive as a preference.
hreflang checked on the live crawl
We validate the implementation against the live crawl and show you the output. If a return tag is missing on a template, you see the row it is missing on.
Every market on its own line
No blended totals. Each country gets its own rank, traffic and trend, so a market that is going backwards cannot hide inside one that is going forward.
We say when Arabic is out of scope
If an engagement does not fund proper Arabic research, layout and content, we write that down rather than shipping a translated folder and calling the site bilingual.
