Finding and checking creators
Candidates found in your category, then read one by one: audience authenticity, follower-growth pattern, brand safety, past brand deals and current standing
a shortlist with a written reason against every name
Influencer marketing · UAE
Most of this market sells the size of its roster, which is inventory rather than a result. Webzenia builds a short list on category fit and standing, and reports what each creator sold.
Get a creator shortlist for what you sellWhat the work asks of a brand
Three things, and only one of them is a creative decision. The shortlist, the contract and the tracked link are what separate a campaign you can defend from a campaign you can only describe.
An Al Quoz fragrance producer on a DET licence needs six right names, not six thousand available ones. Fit and standing come before rate. Your own accounts are argued on social media.
The permit belongs to the creator, and it covers promotion whether or not anyone was paid. So the check, the disclosure and the usage rights belong in the brief, not in a message the week the content is due.
Every creator gets a link and a code of their own, so the report says which names produced orders. A booking dashboard counts bookings, which is a measure of what you spent rather than of what it returned.
What this market sells you
Roster size is the proof this category has settled on. It measures supply, which is the one thing a brand was never short of.
| A rosterLarge, and inventory | A shortlistShort, and defensible | |
|---|---|---|
| What is sold | Access to thousands, searchable by follower count and rate. | Six names chosen for your category, with the reason written beside each. |
| What is checked | Availability, and whether the rate fits the budget. | Standing, audience authenticity and past brand deals, before a brief exists. |
| Where the risk sits | With whoever approved the brief, discovered afterwards. | In the contract, checked before anything is commissioned. |
| What the report says | Reach, and an earned-media value nobody can bank. | Orders per creator, from a tracked link and a code each one owns. |
| How the next one runs | A fresh search of the same database, on the same criteria. | The names that sold get more; the names that did not are replaced. |
Short enough that somebody has read every profile on it. Six creators you can account for will outperform sixty you selected on a filter, because the work that makes a campaign defensible here happens per name and does not scale. The roster count is a supply claim, and supply was never the constraint. Where the creator sends the traffic matters as much as who sends it, and generate more leads covers what happens after the click.
The UAE context
Webzenia has worked with Gulf clients since 2018. These four change the contract, not the creative, and the contract is where the campaign is actually won or lost.
The permit covers publishing advertising content for compensation or free of charge alike, so a gifted item sits inside it exactly as a fee does. A modest-fashion label in Business Bay on a DET licence seeding fifty parcels is running fifty campaigns, and usually has a contract for none of them.
The National Media Authority issues the Advertiser Permit to individuals. What a brand holds instead is the exposure of commissioning someone who does not have one, and the only thing that manages that is a check made before the brief goes out.
The references, the comment thread and the moderation all change, so a Sharjah SAIF Zone homeware brand selling on noon needs two briefs rather than one translated. The disclosure wording changes with the language, and somebody has to be able to read the replies.
Unless the brief names the term, the placements and the paid usage, a Jumeirah dental clinic on a DHA licence cannot run the post as an advert without renegotiating. The second conversation is always the expensive one, because by then the content already works.
What the work includes
Six pieces of work, each producing something you keep. The first two decide whether the campaign is defensible; the last two decide whether it is repeatable.
Candidates found in your category, then read one by one: audience authenticity, follower-growth pattern, brand safety, past brand deals and current standing
a shortlist with a written reason against every name
Product sent to a tracked list of creators under the same terms a paid placement carries, because promotion with no fee attached is still promotion
a dispatch you can account for, and posts you are entitled to use
A brief that names the deliverable, the disclosure, the term and the paid usage before the fee is agreed, so nothing is renegotiated after the content already works
a signed brief, not a booking
A tracked link and a discount code per creator, carrying their own parameters, so clicks, orders and revenue land against a name rather than into a channel total
a performance table you can act on
The few names worth a year rather than a post, on a contract that sets cadence, exclusivity and what happens when something is published off-brief
a roster you renew rather than rebuild
Earned media value charted beside the revenue actually tracked, month by month, so the two are never confused with each other
a monthly read that says which names to keep
Our stack
The kit behind a shortlist you can defend and a report that names what sold. Select one to see why it earns its place, and where we argue against it.
Modash reads the audience rather than the profile: where the followers actually are, how the account grew, and what share of it behaves like a real person.
We filter on where the audience lives, not where the creator does, because a Dubai-based creator with a following in another market is a common and expensive mistake here.
How the engagement runs
The order is the whole method. Everything that makes a campaign defensible happens before a single piece of content is commissioned.
We find candidates in your category, read the audience rather than the follower count, and check the growth pattern, the brand safety and the past brand deals. Standing is confirmed per creator and recorded, so the check exists as a document rather than as somebody memory. What you receive is a short list with a written reason and a rate against every name, including the names we removed and why.
The brief names the deliverable, the disclosure, the term, the placements and the paid usage before a fee is agreed, and the partnership permission is taken at the same time rather than at launch. Every creator gets a tracked link and a code of their own. Gifted placements go out under the same terms as paid ones, because the difference is the invoice rather than the obligation.
Clicks, orders and revenue land against a name, with earned media value charted beside the revenue actually tracked so the two are never read as one number. The names that sold get more of the budget and the names that did not are replaced rather than repeated. Content that performs is already cleared to run as an advert, because the rights were taken at brief stage.
Reported per creator, against the orders each one produced.
Our commitment
This is the channel where the paperwork is skipped most often and noticed last. These are the four things we hold ourselves to.
Every creator is checked first
Standing, audience authenticity and past brand deals are checked and recorded before a creator is approached, gifted placements included. Where a name cannot be cleared, it does not reach your shortlist and you are told why.
Usage rights agreed before filming
The term, the placements and the paid usage are in the brief, and the partnership permission is taken at the same time. You never have to reopen a fee conversation because a post started working.
Your roster and content stay yours
You keep the shortlist with its reasons, the rates each creator agreed, the contracts and every asset delivered under them. Ending the engagement costs you a handover, never the relationships or the footage.
We will argue against the wrong creator
Where the audience does not check out, or the standing is not current, we say so before anything is committed, including when the name arrived from your board. Agreeing to it would be the more comfortable call and the wrong one.
Cleared before the brief, reported against the order.
